Probably the greatest part about avoiding interstates on a road trip is discovering places you never knew existed. That was my experience with Black Canyon National Park.

Just showing some scale at a local spot down south. Excited to have it all to ourselves as we showed up for sunrise.

The Corona Arch is just outside of Arches National Park in Utah and is a pretty easy hike back to see it and the Bow Tie Arch. The whole area is pretty amazing.

We drove out to Moab from SLC and needed to get out on the trails immediately. The legendary Slickrock trail just on the outskirts of Moab was the most logical choice. It was a great day to be out with low flying clouds and azure sky.

While hiking through Arches National Park in Utah we were looking to gain a new perspective of the landscape and before we knew it we were standing on this lookout admiring an endless maze of sandstone.

After a long morning of exploring Arches National Park in Utah, my good friend asked me to take pictures of him as he boarded down the road. After doing so, I looked back and couldn’t help but get caught up in the beauty of what we were surrounded by. I laid down on the cool pavement and tried to capture the majestic scenery combined with the presence of man all in beautiful unity.

My sister and I went backpacking in Arches National Park over the summer. In some panic ridden state, we woke up and barely caught the sunrise.

This hike wasn’t easy. Not because it was long but because it was very steep. The ice and snow made it much more difficult than it should’ve been. The trail was narrow and slick. The high elevation made any effort feel like an extreme workout. Then, when I reached the top, one of the best waterfalls I’ve ever seen.
